I have been specializing in corrective skin care and make up solutions for all people (with a special interest in those with ethnic skins), for the last 14 years.
As a woman of color who has had skin care issues (an occasional breakout, the discoloration from it, large pores, oily t-zone etc.) and make up nightmares, (foundation that was too red, too ashy, too heavy feeling, felt greasy, blush and eye shadow colors that just didn’t work) I have always had an interest in finding the right products that would be appropriate for my special skin considerations.
My product searches ended after I attended cosmetology school and continued my education in the beauty industry. It was at that point that I opened my first skin care and make up practice in California where I featured products that I created to be skin friendly, correct skin disorders and do a great job! I was able to formulate products that I love as well as my diverse and growing clientele.
You may be wondering how in the world I ended up formulating my own product line, but the answer is really quite simple. I graduated with a degree in applied mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and when I did my advanced training in skincare I worked in a clinic where we actually had a lab and formulated many products for each client’s specific skin disorders.
We are no longer the Beautiful Skin Shoppe we are now FABB STUDIO which stands for (face and body beautiful) home of Vonetta Cosmetics and the best black skincare in Atlanta Georgia (and possibly the world) is located in the “million dollar mile” portion of midtown at 675 West Peachtree Street N.W. Suite c-4. As part of the AT&T (formerly Bellsouth) campus located on the corner of Ponce De Leon and West Peachtree Street this “no frills” mini spa is being touted as THE place to be to have your skin “perfected” by more and more Atlantians of all races.
We are proud to be a business that is growing rapidly from word of mouth advertising and referrals from satisfied customers. Black Americans (and other people of color) have been looking for black skincare in Atlanta Georgia for solutions to their unique issues and now they have found it!
Not only does this “mini clinic” provide black skincare in Atlanta Georgia, we provide skincare for anyone who has skin. It just so happens we specialize in Black American skin and other skins of color.
